The safety, security, and well-being of our guests and employees is our number one priority. Maupintour, a Monaker Group company, has proactively implemented comprehensive measures to address concerns regarding COVID-19. We will continue to monitor information provided by the World Health Organization. the United States Centers for Disease Control, and our destination management companies and will take additional measures that are deemed necessary.
For guests that are booked on trips from now through July 31, 2020 we are allowing guests to cancel or change their trips as follows:
- If a guest wishes to change their dates of travel, Maupintour will work with our suppliers to accommodate the new dates being requested and will seek to price protect your package to avoid increases in a price. If the price of the trip decreases because of changing the dates, Maupintour will refund the difference (if the trip is already paid in full) or re-price the trip to the lower price.
- If a guest wishes to cancel their trip. Most deposits are refundable except for unrecoverable items that our suppliers must purchase in advance. Maupintour will work with our suppliers to recover all or as much of the trip costs as possible. However, due to the unique nature of our trips, Maupintour is only able to refund the amounts recovered from the suppliers so there is a possibility that a full refund will not be available.
We know many of our guests want to book travel, but we also recognize there is still much uncertainty. Therefore, we have made the following adjustment to our deposit and final payment requirements for any guest who books a trip between now and July 31, 2020 with travel that departs no later than December 31, 2021:
- The deposit collected at the time of booking is fully refundable if the trip is canceled before the final payment is due.
- Final payment due date has been changed from 90 days prior to departure to 45 days prior to departure.
