Start your tour with a trip to Sintra, which overlooks the Palace of Queluz, inspired by the Palace of Versailles. On arrival at the Parque de la Peña, head to the throne of the Queen for an amazing view of the National Palace of Pena and the Atlantic Ocean. Enter in the National Palace of Pena, of the romanticism era, to admire the Arab Hall and the details of the bedrooms of the king and queen. Take a walk in the historic center of Sintra, where you will have free time to explore the city or take lunch (on your own ). Then admire the scenery of Sintra Natural Park on the way to the cliffs of Cabo da Roca and Guincho Beach, a paradise for surfers. Stroll down the cliff Hellmouth and make a stop to stretch your legs in the bay of Cascais. Roll over the center of Cascais and enjoy views of the Atlantic coast on the trip back to Lisbon. Fatima, one of the most important Christian sites in the world, is home to the Fatima Shrine, which honors the appearance in 1917 of Our Lady of Fatima (another name for the Virgin Mary). After the tour, you can explore the coastal fishing town of Nazare and Óbidos medieval village, stopping at the Monastery of Batalha, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Enjoy picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean and agricultural landscapes as you travel along the spectacular cliffs of the coast of Portugal. Today, after your breakfast you will go to Toledo to visit this beautiful city, one of the most monumental of Spain. Enjoy a panoramic view and also go into some of the most important monuments such as the “Santa María La Blanca Synagogue” and Damasquinado workshop. Return to Madrid and free afternoon. After your breakfast at the hotel, your tour will visit the Escorial Monastery and the Valley of the fallen. For many years, the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de el Escorial was considered as the eighth Wonder of the World, it was conceived by Philip II, as a Monastery and Royal Pantheon, becoming a symbol of the greatness of the Spanish Empire. You will visit: The Royal Palace, The Pantheon of Kings, The Pantheon of Princes, Chapterhouses, Basilica and Library. The Valley Basilica is located only 9 km from El Escorial. It is a Basilica excavated into the mountain 1350m above sea level, where an impressive 150 meters high cross stands proud over the magnificent scenery of the Madrid mountain range. You will explore inside the Basilica, where you will be able to admire the magnificent views and take pictures.
