Welcome to Oahu! Enjoy a private transfer from Honolulu airport to your hotel, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki with an Ocean View Room and Private Balcony (or similar). The rest of the day is free for you to relax, or explore Honolulu at your own pace.
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel for a seat in coach tour to Pearl Harbor. Jump the line and get a front row seat on this fantastic combination tour, taking in the Pacific Aviation Museum, Arizona Memorial and Pearl Harbor. Begin at legendary Pearl Harbor, where the surprise Japanese military strike in 1941 led to the US entering World War II, before traveling to the Punchbowl, the National Cemetery of the Pacific located in the crater of an extinct volcano. You’ll also get an opportunity to visit the Pacific Aviation Museum. Start by boarding the USS Arizona Memorial, the floating memorial accessible only by boat moored above the sunken battleship. Look down through the crystal clear tropical waters at the shipwreck below, a National Historic Landmark that commemorates the American entrance into World War II. View film of the attack and browse through the historic artifacts on display before crossing Pearl Harbor to Ford Island. Next it’s on to the Punchbowl National Cemetery, the permanent burial site for thousands of World War II servicemen killed in the Pacific. Explore downtown Honolulu and discover other aspects of Hawaii’s history, from ancient Polynesian ocean culture and the huge whaling industry, to the coming of luxury ocean liners in the 1920’s and 30’s. You’ll see the beautiful old buildings surrounding the capital before returning to your hotel. At the end of the day, you will have free time to relax and enjoy the scenery of this magnificent island.
Today, experience the island adventure of a lifetime at the Hawaiian Polynesian Cultural Center – just an hour’s scenic drive from Waikiki after your hotel pickup. It’s easy to see why this is one of Hawaii’s top attractions, with seven native villages giving visitors the chance to participate in the daily lives of Hawaiian and other South Pacific cultures. With displays of traditional skills and crafts, local delicacies, historical facts and plenty of entertainment, a trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center is a must for anyone visiting Waikiki. The villages and exhibits represent eight separate cultures, from Aotearoa and Fiji to Hawaii, Marquesas, Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga, and Easter Island. This makes a visit to the Cultural Center an opportunity to travel around the South Pacific without leaving Hawaii. Set on 42 acres of land on Oahu’s north shore, the center has a lagoon hosting daily canoe tours. Cool off in Hawaii’s only IMAX theater and enjoy a coral reef adventure and learn more about the importance of these rare and precious ecosystems.
You’ll also experience a nostalgic trip back in time to learn about Hawaii’s royalty while enjoying traditional Hawaiian food and entertainment at the award-winning Ali’i Lu’au. The buffet menu includes delicious local delicacies such as steamed tropical fish with black bean sauce, shoyu glazed chicken, pulled pork and more. Visit the Pacific Marketplace, with crafts from all over the South Pacific, before ending your day by watching the show ‘Ha, Breath of Life’, featuring over 100 performers and the thrill of Samoan fire-knife dancing.

Today after breakfast, you will have the day to yourself. You can relax at the hotel or explore Maui on your own. If you decide to explore, a great place to start is Iao Valley State Park. Located in Central Maui just west of Wailuku, this peaceful 4,000 acre, 10-mile long park is home to one of Maui’s most recognizable landmarks, the 1,200-foot Iao Needle. This iconic green-mantled rock outcropping overlooks Iao stream and is an ideal attraction for easy hiking and sightseeing.
There is a well-marked, paved pedestrian path leading from the parking lot to view Iao Needle and the ridge-top lookout provides incredible views of the valley. The needle is sometimes covered in clouds, so an early start is your best bet for a good view. You can also take a rainforest walk to explore interactive exhibits at the Hawaii Nature Center, which is also located in Iao Valley.
