Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Glasgow

On your arrival, a private car will be waiting to transfer you to your city-center hotel. Relax in your hotel or explore the city for the rest of the day. Accommodation at Jury’s Inn Hotel.

Day 2 – Everything Glasgow

This morning, your private guide gives you an in depth tour of the city. Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, is renowned for its culture, style and the friendliness of its people. Glasgow offers a blend of internationally-acclaimed museums and galleries and stunning architecture. Vibrant and energetic, Glasgow enjoys a year-round buzz with an arts scene that regularly produces cutting-edge productions and attracts high-profile exhibitions that led to the city being crowned European City of Culture in 1990. Glasgow was also the UK’s City of Architecture and Design in 1999 and its architecture is an attraction in itself. Afternoon at your leisure. Accommodation at Jury’s Inn Hotel.

Day 3 – A Day For You

Enjoy Glasgow at your leisure today. Perhaps you would like to visit nearby museums, art galleries or the famous Willow Tearooms. Accommodation at Jury’s Inn Hotel.

Day 4 – Glasgow to Edinburgh

After your breakfast, you will be transferred by your private driver to the train station (Queens Street Railway) where you will board your comfort class train ride to Edinburgh. Upon arrival at Edinburgh a private car transfers you to your hotel.

This afternoon, depart your hotel and explore the city of Edinburgh. Your semi-private guide shows you round Edinburgh’s historic Old Town and Castle. Capital of Scotland since the 15th Century, Edinburgh stands on seven hills creating the dramatic skyline of this lively cosmopolitan city. Marvel at the impenetrable Castle Rock and hear about the attempts to capture Edinburgh Castle, see the Royal Mile which joins Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyrood House and discover the fascinating history of this amazing George Hotel. You finish the tour with a cup of tea at the Edinburgh Castle. Accommodation at George Hotel.

Day 5 – Loch Ness, Glencoe & Highlands

Today your private guide/driver takes you for a full day visit to the Loch Ness – a diverse range of classic highland scenery, including many ‘must see’ sights and the chance to go Monster hunting! Other highlights include: dramatic Glencoe, mighty Ben Nevis, the Great Glen, Loch Ness and Highland Perthshire. Accommodation at George Hotel.

Day 6 – A Day For You

Today, explore the city at your own pace. Edinburgh, the inspiring capital of Scotland, is a historic, cosmopolitan and cultural city. The setting is wonderfully striking: a city is perched on a series of extinct volcanoes and rocky crags, which rise from the generally flat landscape of the Lothians, with the sheltered shoreline of the Firth of Forth to the north. Accommodation at George Hotel.

Day 7 – Return Home

After breakfast, your private car takes you to the airport for your return flight home.
