The town is a natural base for exploring central Australia. The mesmerizing MacDonnell Ranges stretch east and west from the town centre, and you don’t have to venture far to find yourself among ochre-red gorges, pastel-hued hills and ghostly white gum trees. This full day tour includes some of the most spectacular scenery unique to Central Australia before exploring the town itself. Marvel at towering fiery red walls set aglow by the desert sun before returning to Alice Springs. A picnic lunch is included. Spend a delightful afternoon exploring ‘A Town Like Alice’ in the heart of Central Australia, beginning with panoramic views from ANZAC Hill overlooking the township and surrounding mountain ranges.
