PRICES, QUOTES, DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS: All prices on this website are per person and based on double occupancy, unless otherwise indicated. and are quoted in US Dollars. Single rates apply as stipulated. Rates are subject to change without notice. Expect moderate to high increases for high season and holiday periods. Low season dates vary from destination to destination. All rates are “From Prices” and correspond to the lowest season in the year. If a hotel included in a program is not available at the time of the reservation, we will substitute it for a hotel of similar category. Most programs can be customized. Once your deposit is received, the land portion of your vacation price is guaranteed with the exception of potential fuel related surcharges as charged by our vendors. Maupintour will always pass on these charges at cost in order to minimize the impact on the consumer. However, airfares are subject to change at any time. Please inquire for details.

Quotes:  Maupintour is pleased to send you a complimentary quote. We are happy to accommodate any changes and additional planning you would like to design that  special vacation experience. We ask our clients to recognize that there may be additional charges when making changes.

Deposits must be received at time of booking. Most Programs require a $750 per person deposit. If a program requires a different deposit amount it will be specified on the Program page. For full coverage, Travel Insurance should be purchased at the same time as your deposit.

Final payment must be received in our offices at least 90 days prior to tour departure. There will instances (due to conditions from our suppliers) where a final payment or an additional partial payment will be due outside of the 90 days terms. You will be notified of these special conditions upon booking your tour. Bookings may be cancelled if deposit or final payment is not received by due dates. Reservations made within 90 days of departure require full payment. Tour documents are issued after final payment and sent approximately 3-4 weeks prior to departure. Please note that E-Documents are becoming commonplace. We will be sending E-Documents unless a request for Paper Documents is made.

All programs are based on the participation of at least 2 travelers (unless specified as otherwise in the tour description). Single traveler departures can be arranged if available. Some tours do have minimum age restrictions for children which will be disclosed with all reservation requests.

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES:  Everything that is included in your tour will be listed on your quote.  Please make sure that you look closely at what is included and what is not included.

NOT INCLUDED: Transportation to the tour departure point and from the tour ending point, unless specified. Personal expenses such as passport, visas, room service, phone calls, laundry, alcoholic beverages and optional activities. Some taxes and fees may not be included in your price, if so they will be listed in your quote.

RESERVATION CHANGES A $50 per person fee will be assessed for each change to any booking made after final payment is received  plus any additional fees that may be charged by our suppliers. Changes in departure date, itineraries or passengers are considered a cancellation and a new booking. No change will be made unless permitted under the terms of our cancellation policy, even if you transfer to another date.

CANCELLATION FEES Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly. To offset these costs, the following fees will apply. If you cancel, any non-recoverable expenses of our suppliers will be charged, plus the following per person charge:

90 days or more

  • Forfeiture of deposit

89-30 days

  • 50% of total package price pp (Independent and Customized tours)
  • 100% of total package price pp (Waterways & River cruises)

29 day or less & no show

  • 100% of total package price pp (Independent & Customized tours)

 

The purchase of a Travel Protection Plan is highly recommended. Ask your Reservation Specialist for details. 

TRAVEL & HEALTH DOCUMENTS: Passport and visa requirements, as well as vaccination certificates and other health requirements for travel between your home city and your tour destinations, may change from time to time. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to determine if any visas and vaccinations are needed. Passengers who do not have proper documentation may be prevented from boarding a flight and will consequently lose 100% of total package price. 

TRAVELERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS OR DISABILITIES must notify us. Failure to do so may result in a person’s inability to participate in a particular trip or tour. 

LIMITS ON MAUPINTOURS’S RESPONSIBILITY: Maupintour, LLC is based in Weston, FL. It purchases transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurant and other services from various independent suppliers that are not subject to its control. Maupintour cannot therefore be liable for death, personal injury or any other loss that may occur (1) due to any act or omission of any such supplier, or (2) by any reason of any other event over which it has no control. Cruise itineraries and sightseeing excursions are subject to change without notice. In the event that flood, drought, inclement weather or canal maintenance requirement by local authorities cause a vessel to not be able to operate as advertised, a comparable cruise program will be substituted. On alternate weeks, some cruises operate in reverse direction, but may vary due to occasional closings on the waterways for unforeseen circumstances. The foregoing terms and conditions only briefly describe the terms and conditions applicable to Maupintour programs.
