Arrive Edinburgh
After arrival and private car transfer to the hotel, the remainder of the day is free in Edinburgh. You may want to stretch your legs on a stroll down Rose Street, filled with picturesque pubs and shops.
Everything Edingburgh
Meet your private guide and car for sightseeing Edinburgh, proud and beautiful capital of Scotland. See the smart shops, gardens and parks along Princes Street, visit Holyroodhouse Palace (if the Queen is not in residence) and Edinburgh Castle, which towers above the Old Town.
Train to York
The morning is free in Edinburgh. At midday, board the train south to the ancient English walled city of York. No other British city offers the magical, medieval charm and beauty of York, with its 71A.D. Roman and Viking history and bustling streets filled with charming shops and pubs.
York Minster & Jorvik
On your walking tour, visit York Minster, Northern Europe largest Gothic Cathedral, which dominates the city skyline. See the well preserved city fortress walls and visit the Jorvik Viking Center, a reconstructed archeological site, to experience everyday life in a medieval Viking village. The afternoon is at leisure, to walk atop the medieval city walls or window shop the ancient lanes of the Shambles.
Train to London
Board the express train for the ride through Yorkshire and south to London Kings Cross Station. You are met and transferred to your hotel.
Everything London
Morning private guided sightseeing includes visits to St. Pauls Cathedral and the Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are kept. See Regent and Oxford Streets, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the Parliament. The afternoon is free in London.
