You will fall in love with Brazil at first sight, the sight of the thunderous Iguazu Falls it is. Explore the national park and the falls by jungle trains, on foot and even on exhilarating boat rides that will take us to the very heart of the action. Then move on to Rio, the Marvelous City, with its vibrant atmosphere, friendly people and pulsing nightlife. Wrap it up with a stay at the spectacular Nannai Resort in Porto de Galinhas, Brazil’s most romantic beach destination. Catch some rays under thousands of coconut trees, snorkel in pristine reefs, explore the mangroves, take an exhilarating buggy tour and enjoy long romantic walks on the beach under the spell of spectacular sunsets.

1 The Big Water (Iguassu Falls)
After collecting your luggage, proceed to the reception area, where our local representative will be holding a board with your name on it. You will be greeted with a “Bemvindos a Iguassu” and escorted to our transfer van. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful drive through the lush national park ending at the famous Tropical Cataratas Hotel, located next to the falls. Check in and then set off for a walking tour along walkways and observation points that offer prime views of the 275 falls from different angles. The inquisitive coatimundis, another attraction of the park, will tag along for most of the tour. The rest of the day is free to take a stroll in the park, put your camera to work or relax and enjoy the hotel facilities.

2 Splashing under the falls (Iguassu Falls)
This morning cross the border over to Puerto Iguazu to enjoy a tour of the falls from the Argentinean side. This is a very comprehensive tour that renders different views of the falls: First we head for the lower path where we experience the closest contact with the falls. Then board small motorboats and cross the river up to San Martin Island. Finally walk through the upper path that stretches along the highest part of the falls until we reach the belvedere at the famous Devil's Throat. The tour tops off with a ride on specially prepared zodiacs that will take you on a thrilling river trip up to the famous falls. Get ready for a "natural shower" followed by an up-close look at the thunderous, hair-rising Devil’s Gorge. (B)

3 Welcome to the Marvelous City (Rio de Janeiro)
Rio de Janeiro, the city that never sleeps, the traditional hangout of the rich and famous, is wedged among famous hills, blessed with miles of world-renown beaches, and surrounded by tropical forests and lagoons. The day is free to go shopping or enjoy a long walk on the beach. Rio has a pulsing nightlife. Check with the concierge for dinner venues and night entertainment. (B)

4 Touring the city (Rio de Janeiro)
This morning, catch a first glimpse of the city as we tour Rio’s best-known landmarks: The Sugar Loaf Mountain with its famous cable car and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, located atop Corcovado Mountain. In between visits, stop for a lunch of delicious Brazilian barbecue at a typical restaurant. (B,L)

5 The day is up to you. Tonight, Samba of course (Rio de Janeiro)
There is so much to do in Rio that we rather have you make your plans for today. You may catch some rays on one of the world-renowned beaches and lunch on fresh seafood, visit the colonial city of Petropolis, join an excursion to Rio’s tropical islands by schooner or even see Rio from the air on an exciting helicopter tour. This evening get ready for traditional Brazilian fanfare as you dine on succulent Brazilian barbecue and later attend a fiery Samba show. (B,D)

6 Brazil’s romantic coast (Porto de Galinhas)
Leave the big city behind and travel north to one of the most romantic spots in the Americas. Porto de Galinhas has been attracting beach lovers and romance seekers for decades. Its powdery beaches, crystal clear waters and benign weather are already legendary. You will fly into the city of Recife and then continue on an overland transfer along the blue coast to your final destination: The Nannai Beach Resort, a secluded beachfront hotel located on the quiet Muro Alto Beach, yet only ten minutes from the town of Porto de Galinhas. 7-9 Romancing the Atlantic (Porto de Galinhas)
Three days of absolute bliss to enjoy multiple activities or just relax at the manicured gardens, swim in the free-form swimming pool, catch some rays on the beach and dine on Recife’s succulent cuisine. Muro Alto is a unique beach surrounded by pristine reefs that have formed a natural swimming pool where guests can snorkel, kayak or sail. Nearby, in Porto de Galinhas, you may walk along the fishermen district, explore the fabulous mangroves, take a buggy tour, browse the quaint shops, and dance the night away to the tropical rhythms of the Northeast. Today our local representative will be transferring you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
