The only ship built exclusively for Galapagos Islands cruising, the M/V Santa Cruz offers superb service, a highly experienced crew, including on-board naturalists, and fine international cuisine highlighted with celebrated Ecuadorian dishes.
Completely renovated in 1998, the ship has just 46 cabins. On the Boat Deck there are two master suites with double beds and a private balcony and two junior suites with twin beds. For Superior cabins have twin or double beds that, together with the remaining Standard Cabins on the Upper and Main decks, offer several options of accommodation, all meeting the same high standards of comfort and style. Family guests have ample choice among single, double, triple and quad accommodations.
The Sun Deck features a bar and Jacuzzi along with a comfortable observation platform for dolphin and whale watching. The dining room, lounge and bar are elegantly appointed, as is the well-stocked library/reading room. The entire ship is air-conditioned and on-board amenities include snorkeling equipment, glass bottom boat, aromatherapy center, a boutique/souvenir shop, radio, telephone and fax.
A carefully planned itinerary includes the Galapagos’ main highlights plus a flexible program that allows you to enjoy several alternatives for your daily activities. The team of naturalists will delight everyone with their sharp knowledge of the islands’ natural history. Outstanding lectures and briefings will be programmed throughout the expedition. Their multi-media state-of-the-art presentations, as well as their stargazing talks are great ways to enhance this voyage.
